Returns + Cancellations
You may cancel your order for a full refund before it has been prepared for shipment at warehouse. You may contact us HERE to see if your order can still be cancelled. After an order has been packaged and scheduled for pick up with freight company you will no longer be able to cancel your order. At this point you will have to return your order once you receive it.
New items (excluding kayaks) are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. It is your responsibility to pay the return shipping fees that might be associated with returning the product. Items must be in a new condition, not show any use or wear, must have the retail packaging intact, and must be returned with all originally included parts and accessories. Once your returned item is received and inspected by our team, your refund will be processed immediately minus a 20% restocking fee. If the product is found to be in poor condition, or if any originally included parts or accessories are missing, the amount of your refund will be reduced.
Rigid (polyethylene) kayaks and trailers are not covered by the 14-day return policy and cannot be returned. If you have any questions on what product is right for you prior to purchasing, please contact our customer service team and ask their advice.
Any product shortage must be reported within 48 hours from receipt of the order. Shortages must be documented on the Delivery Receipt.
Riot Kayaks is not responsible for any shipping fees, nor refund of shipping fees, associated with a customer refusing delivery of their kayak order. It is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure they or the person they purchased the kayak for are there at the shipped-to-address to receive the delivery from the shipping carrier, or have someone authorized to accept delivery on behalf of the customer according to shipping carrier policy. If a kayak delivery is refused by the customer and is returned to Riot Kayaks, Riot has the right to charge the customer another shipping fee to re-ship the kayak.
